Hello Again

Well, it's been a considerable amount of time since I've last blogged here. Figured I'd recap. "Brigadoon" was phenomenal. It was a great experience, and I can't wait for the new season of shows to audition! :]

Welcome to "Our Town," "Brigadoon."

Sorry for the spin on words there, but I needed to brighten up this blog with a good pun.
But yeah, those are the two theatre shows nearest and dearest to my heart because they are the shows that I have most recently been working on.
"Our Town"'s come and gone already, but "Brigadoon" opens at the end of this month. Show dates and times can probably be found on the Frauenthal homepage or the Muskegon Civic Theatre homepage.

How Right and Fitting

Okay, so today's the first day of December. In Michigan. Normally there's near a foot of snow on the ground by now, but the weather has been so mild lately. Not anymore...I woke up this morning and there was 6 inches of snow on the ground....by noon there was a foot! Mother Nature compensated for the un-wintry weather quickly. I'm so jazzed now...the house is decorated, and I even redecorated my webpage! I'm all in the holiday mood now....all is well.

State of Confusion

Okay, so there's good news and bad news. Good news is I've made a bunch of new friends, two in particular who are like the world to me. I'm loving school and things are going really well. Bad news is I'm confused....but that happens a lot to me, so it shouldn't phase me as much as it is. I just don't know where my heart wants me to be and what God wants me to be. It kinda hurts, but I know I'll get through it.

College....why?

Why does it have to happen each year? I have a test on my Birthday, as it has been for the last, I don't know, 6 years! Why does this happen to me? Also, why do a whole bunch of tests have to come all at the same time? There is a whole bunch of nothing time between the piles of tests, so why aren't they more spread out? This sucks! Anywho, everything will work itself out, it'll be okay....won't it?

It's Raining, Therefore, I'm Bummed Out

Today is a terrible day. First of all, it's a Monday. No Mondays, by comparison, are ever that great. Secondly, it is the fifth anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Centers, Pentagon, and the crashing of Flight 93 in Shanksville, PA. I watched some of the memorials this morning before I went to school, and, oh man, it really put me in a melancholy mood. Third, it's been raining all day, and that never helps boost one's morale. And, last but not least, I've been talking at length with a friend about personal issues, and things seem to be going a little more downhill than we had hoped for...but that will work itself out. I guess the only thing that brightened my day was the Anatomy and Physiology test I took at 10:00 this morning! Geez, when a day is bad, it's BAD.

College Fever, Part Deux

Hey all, so sorry it's been so long since I've updated. My social life has been far better than any other year I've been alive. It also doesn't help that I have to go to the library or a friend's house in order to check anything that has to do with being on the internet. At any rate, classes are going to be starting back up shortly, and I'm kind of excited and kind of not excited about the whole thing. But I do have some fun news; at this publishing, I have been informed that I may be getting a new PT Cruiser! Yay for me! Laters!
